Berlin, Feb. 1 (CNA) The youth symphony orchestra from Georg-Friedrich-Händel-Gymnasium, a high school in Berlin, Germany, will tour Taiwan in mid-February, performing in major cities across the island.

The six-day tour will run from Feb. 11-16, with the orchestra and Taiwanese German flutist Liu Shih-cheng (劉士誠) holding concerts in Tainan, Hsinchu, Taipei and New Taipei, according to the school.

The symphony orchestra will play works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Wilhelm Richard Wagner and Edward William Elgar during their maiden trip to Taiwan.
