Shortly after his arrival, Harden attended a press conference in Taipei to share information about his basketball training and interact with local university basketball players.

At the press conference, Harden said the 2017-2018 season was the first time he had played with guard Chris Paul and forward PJ Tucker for the same team.

Even though their chemistry is not bad, the time they spent playing together was a little too short, he said.

Next season, they will kick off their training from the start of the pre-season training camp and will make all the necessary preparations to reach the championships, he noted.

On Thursday, Harden is scheduled to participate in the filming of the variety show Mr. Player, which is hosted by celebrities Jacky Wu (吳宗憲) and KID(林柏昇)before meeting fans at Fu Jen Catholic University's Chung Mei Auditorium later that evening.

Averaging 30.4 points, 8.8 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game for the season, Harden, named 2017-2018 Most Valuable Player, led the Houston Rockets to a total of 65 wins and 17 loses this season.

The 2017-18 NBA season began Oct. 17, 2017 and ended June 8 with the Golden State Warriors retaining the championship after sweeping the Cleveland Cavaliers 4-0 in the finals.
