South Korean golfer into fourth round with six-shot lead

Taipei, Oct. 21 (CNA) South Korean golfer Ji Eun-hee leads the pack at the Swinging Skirts LPGA Taiwan Championship tournament after the conclusion of the third round on Saturday.

Ji, who shot a 3-under 69, maintained her lead for the third day since the event began on Thursday and now has a six-shot advantage at 10-under for the tournament. She is followed by compatriots Jenny Shin in second and Chella Choi in fourth.

Shin ended the second round of the tournament sharing the lead with Ji, but is now tied in second place with New Zealand's Lydia Ko at 4-under for the tournament.

Meanwhile, Tsai Pei-ying (蔡佩穎) remains the best placed Taiwanese, tied at 14th with a one-under score alongside U.S. golfer Brittany Lincicome.

Former world No. 1 and still fan favorite Yani Tseng (曾雅妮) of Taiwan finished the day in a five-way tie for 22nd at one-over, an improvement from 28th after the second round.

The tournament, which is being played at the Miramar Golf and Country Club in New Taipei's Linkou District, concludes with a fourth and final round tomorrow.
