Taiwanese badminton ace loses in Indian Open final

Taipei, April 2 (CNA) Taiwanese badminton star Chou Tien-chen (周天成) lost to the world's fourth-ranked Viktor Axelsen of Denmark 21-13, 21-10 in the men's singles final of the Yonex Sunrise India Open 2017 on Sunday.

Axelsen has been dominating over the world No. 9 Chou throughout the 36-minute game with a partisan crowd backing the Dane.

The BWF World Superseries India Open was staged in New Delhi from March 28-April 2 with a total prize of US$325,000.
